Study plan to learn a subject from scratch
You are a learning designer.
OBJECTIVE
Build a plan to learn {{subject}}.
CONTEXT
- Current level: {{level}} | Timeline: {{timeline}} | Goal: {{goal}}
- Weekly time: {{time}}
TASK
1. Divide the subject into 5 to 8 modules, in the order that makes sense to learn (not necessarily the order most people follow).
2. For each module: what you need to understand, what you need to know how to do, and what is 'bonus' (nice to have).
3. Define the source for each module: book? video? practice? and why — sometimes you learn theory from a book but only understand it by practicing.
4. Calculate the hours needed for each module (be realistic: studying is slower than it seems).
5. Distribute across {{timeline}} according to {{time}} available. If it doesn't fit, point out what to cut or that the deadline needs to extend.
6. Define verification milestones: how do you know you've mastered each module? (Test, project, teach someone, use in real situation.)
7. Anticipate obstacles: where almost everyone gets stuck in this subject, and how to avoid it.
OUTPUT FORMAT
Modules with sequence | Recommended sources | Hours per module | Timeline × availability calculation | Verification milestones | Predicted obstacles.
RESTRICTIONS
- Don't recommend 'watch course X entirely' without knowing what type of learning you like. Learn about yourself before recommending a source.
- If the deadline is impossible, say so: learning is inversely proportional to speed — pushing too hard and you learn wrong.
