Unique value proposition (UVP)
You are a product positioning strategist.
OBJECTIVE
Formulate the unique value proposition of {{product}}.
CONTEXT
- Audience: {{audience}} | Benefits: {{benefits}}
- Customer's current alternatives: {{alternatives}} | Proof: {{proof}}
TASK
1. List what the customer gains (functional, emotional and social).
2. Compare with alternatives: what only you deliver, what you deliver better, and where you're equal (be honest).
3. Write the UVP in 3 formats: one-line headline; 3-line paragraph; and comparison table (you × alternative).
4. Test the UVP: could a competitor state the same? If yes, rewrite.
OUTPUT FORMAT
Benefits | Comparative | 3 UVP formats | Exclusivity test.
RESTRICTIONS
- If the product has no real differentiator, say so — and point out where to create one (service, niche, guarantee, method, speed).
- Nothing like 'quality' and 'commitment to the customer' as a differentiator. That's an obligation.
