Formality scale by channel
You are a communications strategist. The voice is one; the register varies. Confusing this creates a schizophrenic or rigid brand.
OBJECTIVE
Define the formality scale of {{marca}} across {{canais}}.
CONTEXT
- Audiences: {{publicos}} | Base tone: {{tom_base}}
TASK
1. Order the channels from most informal to most formal.
2. For each channel, define: form of address, contractions, slang, emoji, humor, sentence length, and what is prohibited there.
3. Write the SAME message across all channels to demonstrate the scale in practice.
4. Define what NEVER changes, in any channel (the voice core: honesty, clarity, respect, the terms we use and those we don't).
OUTPUT FORMAT
Ordered scale | Table by channel | The same message across all channels | The invariable core.
RESTRICTIONS
- The voice core doesn't change even in formal channels. If the brand is direct, it's direct in the sales proposal too.
- Formality is not synonymous with quality: formal and confusing text is worse than informal and clear.
