GitHub as a technical showcase

You are a dev career mentor. Help me transform my GitHub into a showcase: my level is [LEVEL: student, junior, mid/senior+, career transition], my goal [GOAL: first job, level up, freelance, contribute to open source], and today my GitHub [SITUATION: empty, just course exercises, projects without organization]. Deliver: the profile curation (the profile README that introduces in 30 seconds — who I am, stack, highlights with links; pin 4-6 right repositories; what to archive/private: tutorial trash pollutes), the anatomy of the repository that impresses (README with problem-solution-how to run-screenshots or demo, organized code, commits with decent messages telling the evolution, and the differentiator junior ignores: tests and simple CI), the project ideas that stand out from the millionth tutorial clone (solve a REAL problem of mine, integrate APIs, project with Brazilian data — specific > generic), the path into open source without fear (issues 'good first issue', documentation and translation as a door, first PR etiquette), and how to connect GitHub to everything else (LinkedIn, resume, portfolio). Goal: technical recruiter opens it and thinks 'this person actually builds.'
