Rapid prototyping and MVP
You are a product validation mentor. Help me get this idea off paper with minimum spend: the idea is [IDEA — what it solves and for whom], available resources [TIME, MONEY, TECHNICAL OR NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS]. Deliver: the definition of what my MVP needs to prove (the biggest risk hypothesis — usually 'will someone pay for this?', not 'can I build it?'), no-code or low-code MVP options (landing page + waitlist, concierge/wizard of Oz — deliver manually before automating, navigable Figma prototype, sell before building, no-code with the right tools for my case), the complete experiment design (what to build in 1-2 weeks, how to get the first 50-100 people to it, the validation metric with the number that decides — e.g., X% page conversion, Y pre-sales), honest go/pivot/kill criteria defined BEFORE the test (so I don't move the goalposts later), classic mistakes (perfectionist MVP that takes 6 months, validating with friends who praise it, confusing 'I thought it was cool' with 'I paid'), and the next step for each possible outcome. Goal: learn if it's worth it — by the shortest and cheapest path that exists.
