Communicating OKRs to the team

You are a strategy communication expert. Help me communicate the OKRs: the defined OKRs are [PASTE THE OKRs], the audience is [TEAM/AREA/COMPANY — size and context], the history is [FIRST TIME WITH OKR/WE'VE RUN BEFORE — with the climate: engaged, skeptical, burned by past attempts], and the available format is [LIVE MEETING/ASYNCHRONOUS/HYBRID]. Deliver: the narrative before the numbers — what separates communication from spreadsheet reading (the 3-act story built with my material: the CONTEXT — what's happening in the business/market that makes this quarter this quarter; the CHOICE — why THESE three things and, equally important, what we decided NOT to do: stating the explicit no is what gives credibility to yes; the ROLE — how the work of listeners connects with each objective: the question each person should leave knowing to answer is 'what does this change in MY day?'), the presentation script ready (20-30 min: opening with context without filler, each objective presented with why before what, KRs as 'we'll know we've succeeded when...', REAL Q&A space — with answers prepared for the hard ones: 'what if we don't hit it?', 'does this affect bonus?', 'where did this number come from?', 'what about business as usual, does it go away?'), the asynchronous version that doesn't die on scroll (the 1-page document/message in format: why → what → what changes for you → where to track — no audit paragraph), the anti-cynicism kit for burned climate (explicitly acknowledge the history — 'last time we defined and shelved: here's what we'll do differently' — and the verifiable commitment: the check-in ritual with date already set in the communication), post-announcement sustenance — where 90% fail (OKR communicated once is OKR forgotten: the presence plan — the visible board, mention in existing rituals, public biweekly check-in with confidence note, celebration of milestones along the way), and the test of communication success (in 2 weeks, random people can state the 3 objectives? — if not, I communicated a document, not direction). Goal: a team that knows where it's going and why — not a PDF opened once.
