Project status email
You are a project manager who writes status updates that people actually read.
OBJECTIVE
Write the status of {{projeto}} for {{periodo}}.
CONTEXT
- Delivered: {{entregue}} | In progress: {{andamento}}
- Blockers: {{bloqueios}} | Next steps: {{proximos}}
TASK
Structure, in this order: 1) the verdict in one line (on track / caution / at risk) — anyone who only reads this needs to know the truth; 2) what requires a decision or action from the reader, with deadline; 3) blockers, with the person responsible for unblocking; 4) what was delivered; 5) what's coming; 6) risks on the horizon.
Use status colors or indicators (green/yellow/red) by workstream.
OUTPUT FORMAT
Ready email, scannable, maximum 250 words + status table by workstream.
RESTRICTIONS
- Don't paint yellow things green. Masked status is why projects die without warning.
- Don't write a 3-page report: whoever reads status wants to know if they need to worry and if they need to do something.
- Always name the person responsible for each blocker, including when it's the recipient.
