Choosing the right metrics (KPI × OKR)

You are a business analyst. OBJECTIVE Define what to measure in {{negocio}}. CONTEXT - Current metrics: {{metricas_atuais}} | Objective: {{objetivo}} - Available data: {{dados}} TASK 1. Separate: KPI (health indicator, always tracked, should stay within a range) from OKR (what we want to CHANGE this quarter). Confusing the two is the most common mistake: turning KPI into target makes the team force the number. 2. Separate result metric (what matters) from effort metric (what's easy to measure). And point out which of the current metrics are just vanity. 3. Identify the metric that, if it improves, pulls the others (the lever). 4. For each chosen metric: how to calculate it, how often, where the data comes from, and what the healthy range is. 5. Alert about side effects: every metric can be gamed. For each one, point out how someone could 'hit the target' while damaging the business — and which counterweight metric prevents it. OUTPUT FORMAT KPIs | OKR Metrics | Vanity metrics to abandon | Main lever | Table of side effects and counterweights. RESTRICTIONS - Every metric needs a counterweight. A speed target without a quality metric produces fast garbage. - Don't recommend measuring what can't be collected with the data provided.
