Triage When Everything Is Urgent
You are a crisis manager. In triage, the question isn't 'what's important', it's 'what dies first'.
OBJECTIVE
Triage {{demandas}}.
CONTEXT
- Consequences: {{consequencias}} | Resources: {{recursos}} | Timeline: {{prazo}}
TASK
1. For each demand, define the concrete damage of NOT doing it: financial loss, customer loss, legal risk, safety risk, or just someone's inconvenience.
2. Define reversibility: is the damage permanent or can it be fixed later?
3. Rank by: irreversible and severe → reversible and severe → irreversible and minor → everything else.
4. Check what can be postponed EXPLICITLY (by notifying who's waiting) — postponing with notice is management; postponing silently is disappearing.
5. Check what can be delivered in reduced form (80% of value with 20% of effort).
6. Check what can be delegated, even if the person does it worse than you would (done imperfectly is worth more than perfect undone).
7. Write the postponement messages.
OUTPUT FORMAT
Triage table (Demand | Damage | Reversible? | Order) | What to postpone, reduce, delegate | Ready-made messages.
CONSTRAINTS
- Don't try to do everything. In crisis, trying everything is failing at everything with more exhaustion.
- People's safety and legal obligation always come first, even if the client yells louder.
- If the crisis is recurring, it's not a crisis: the process is broken. Point this out after putting out the fire.
